Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - 1
Beginner Level
Each class will start with a warm up, 15 min to stretch and strengthen our muscles. After warm up the largest portion of class will be working on technical, foundational moves. dancers will have time to practice with my attention focused on helpful verbal adjustments. One by one dancers will have a chance to demonstrate the move we are working on and they will receive feedback from myself to encourage and inspire improvement in each of them. The final section of class will be putting technical moves into choreography. Dancers will learn to count on beat while keeping the rhythm of their movements.
Dancers will receive a full body workout, stretching and strengthening while gaining flexibility. We will work on balance and endurance of the body and mind. I love teaching these classes for children to feel empowered and confident all while finding their own style and personality to bring to the class.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi! I’m Alli!
I teach young dancers in jazz, ballet, and lyrical. My classes are for young children that love to move their bodies with music and find joy in movement as well as young dancers that want more focus on technique and choreography. Dance and fitness have been part of my life since I was very young. Starting out as a young dancer I grew up performing and competing. After high school, I taught and assisted with dance classes throughout college and continue to teach young dancers in different styles. I was classically trained in ballet and then fell in love with the freedom of movement in more contemporary styles when I was a young teen. I have found a new love for barre fitness and have been a certified teacher for four years. I love the way barre calls upon the strength and activation of the same muscles we are used to using in dance
I want my students to find joy in my classes and gratitude for their bodies.
