What better place to be than with Kids in the Kitchen creating special, delicious and fun to make holiday desserts. Holiday desserts are more than just pies. We'll make some delicious creations to celebrate the holiday, different desserts.

This class is for learners who want to be creative while making delicious, fun-to-make and fun-to-eat holiday treats. No previous cooking or baking experience required. The teacher will demonstrate different treats while using real ingredients as learners follow directions and make their own treats. They'll learn about different ingredients, measuring terms, safety in the kitchen as each learner builds confidence completing their holiday treats and having FUN!

This is an interactive baking class where I'll guide each learner as they create desserts right along with me, following my step-by-step instructions. When you enroll in Kids in the Kitchen, learners are not only guided through the recipes, but learners can be as creative as they'd like, changing up the recipe, adding a little here and there, and before you know it, each learner will have created their own holiday treats to share. Learners will be able to ask questions, share their ideas on each recipe while meeting new friends.

Learners will make treats from scratch to share with family and friends. We'll read recipes, learn to follow step-by-step directions, measure ingredients and learn a little math all while interacting and socializing with Kids in the Kitchen.

SPECIAL NOTE TO PARENTS: If your child has an allergy, intolerance or simply does not like any of the ingredients used in any of the recipes, please substitute an ingredient at parental discretion. Some recipes use diary products [milk, eggs, butter], sugar, chocolate, and food coloring. A parental substitution still allows your child to participate in the fun, make new friends and complete their project.

I have experience teaching children from 4 years of age to seniors, all subjects. I've been cooking since I was a girl watching my mom cook and bake and helping her in the kitchen, learning from the best. I enjoy cooking and sharing "how to" cook, bake, and grill with family members and friends. I've been know to prepare full meals, desserts included, and deliver them at holiday times especially [Thanksgiving, Christmas] and other times throughout the year. I've often been asked "when are you going to start your own cooking classes?" Who better to begin with than young learners here at Outschool!
