Class Experience

Week of Aug. 7th: refrigerated biscuit dough, frozen vegetables, cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, cheddar cheese, garlic salt, onion powder, dried basil 14th: bananas, oatmeal, dried dates, vegetable oil, cinnamon, chocolate chips, salt 21st: frozen mixed berries, plain or vanilla Greek yogurt, granola, fresh berries (optional) 28th: white icing, a pretzel rod, a rectangle food item (graham cracker, pound cake, etc.), red decorating gel, something edible that can be used as stars (blueberries, star sprinkles, chocolate chips, etc.) Week of Sept. 4th: a large wrap or tortilla, strawberries, peanut butter (or your favorite spreadable) 11th: applesauce, canola oil, egg, milk, vanilla extract, whole wheat flour, rolled oats, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parent guidance will be needed for younger students in all aspects of the class. Regardless of age, parental guidance will be needed whenever a knife, the oven, or the microwave will be used.
