In this ongoing art class, students explore creative concepts while gaining confidence and new skills each week. Mindfulness, STEAM integration, 'Coloring Craftivity' projects, 'Draw your own' guides, & open-ended prompts woven throughout.

Description
Class Experience
This is an open-ended art class for young creatives. Each class includes a printable 'coloring craftivity' template and guided step-by-step drawing lessons dictated by instructor and/or by student interest. During our time together, we will work on a themed project and have growth-mindset conversation to keep our creativity strong! This class is taught in English.
Students will develop drawing and painting skills using a variety of artistic medium and techniques. Templates provided suggest a theme and direction, however, self-expression and creative exploration are encouraged above producing a specific outcome.
Printable worksheets are provided with every class for extended engagement and creative learning.
Paper and any art materials you have at home will do! A printer is needed to print out Coloring Craftivity provided for each class theme.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No formal assessment - just a willingness to participate and create!
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Young learners may need parental support with certain supplies and techniques (specifically those involving cutting with scissors) but not necessary.
