Class Experience

Week #1-Funfetti Cookies (yields 16 cookies)
Ingredients:
½ cup butter softened to room temperature
¾ cup sugar
1 large egg at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
½ cup sprinkles, rainbow or your choice
⅓ cup white chocolate chips

Helpful Tools:
Preheat oven to 350
Baking sheet with parchment paper or non-stick spray
Hand or Stand Mixer
Mixing Bowls
Big Spoon or Spatula

Week #2-Funfetti Cake Bars
Ingredients:
2 sticks (16 tablespoons) unsalted butter (at room temperature)
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
1 cup rainbow sprinkles
1/2 cup chocolate chips (your choice of milk, semi-sweet or bittersweet)

Helpful Tools:
Preheat oven to 350
Baking sheet with parchment paper or non-stick spray
Hand or Stand Mixer
Mixing Bowls
Big Spoon or Spatula

Week #3-Funfetti Scones
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour (spoon & leveled), plus more for hands and work surface
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, frozen
1/2 cup  heavy cream (plus 2 Tbsp for brushing)
1 large egg
1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon almond extract (optional, but tasty!)
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles
Optional - Vanilla Icing:
1 cup confectioners’ sugar
2–3 Tablespoons heavy cream
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
pinch of salt, if desired
Rainbow sprinkles if you would like

Week #4-Funfetti No Bake Mini Cheesecakes
Ingredients
CRUST
1 cup graham crackers (finely crushed)
4 tbsp butter, melted
FILLING
12 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp sour cream
1 cup cool whip
1/4-1/2 cup of rainbow sprinkles

Helpful Tools:
Cupcake Pan
Cupcakes Liners
Spatula 
Mixing Bowl
Hand or Stand Mixer
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please be near by if your learner will need assistance or has questions. Microwave and oven will need to be used.
