The ages for this class are just suggestions. Older and younger learners are welcome! Who doesn't love snacks? Especially Disney snacks?! It you can't be at Disney the next best thing is to make the snacks and pretend you are there! In this class we will make our own Disneyland Pixar Pop Tarts and talk about all the reasons we love Disney! Be ready to learn some fun, interesting secrets about Disney and share your own favorite things about Disney! Please read below for important info: 1. See list below for ingredients and other important info such as parental supervision and helpful kitchen tools! 2. Alert: possible allergens such as nuts, wheat/flour, dairy, eggs, or soy. 3. We try to get as far along with the recipe as we can in the allotted time. If we are unable to fully complete it all I will make sure you and your child know what to do to finish! ***While I’m teaching I may or may not be making the recipe during class with the kids. I like to devote and help each learner and if I am cooking along I can't give them my 100% attention. I also host a lot of cooking class and while I’d love to bake before or during class it’s not always feasible.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Howdy! My name is Brooke and I live in Texas!
During covid, I needed to find something that kept me busy! I tried many different things and fell in love with baking! I was able to do something I enjoyed and share all the yummy food with my family! Not only did I enjoy baking, but my kids also enjoyed it too! It kept me busy and happy and I was able to do this with my children! It then came to me...why not combine the two things I love. Baking and children! "Kids Can Cook Too" classes were born and I am absolutely having a blast!
A little about me: I am married and have three children. My daughters are 20 and 17 and my son is 12. We are true Disney fanatics! I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Victim Studies. After college, I was a social worker and worked with the elderly and disabled. When my son was born, I decided I wanted to be home more with my children and started working as a preschool teacher. I have been teaching for the past 11 years children ages 2-5 years old. In addition, I have been teaching ESL online for 2 years.
I can't wait to share my love for baking with your kiddo! See you in class!
