Class Experience

The best time of the year is coming up and it's also the best time to bake and eat all kinds of yummy goodness!  Peppermint is a Christmas staple so let's make some cookies! 

Please read below for important info:

3. We try to get as far along with the recipe as possible in the allotted time. If we...

Ingredients:
1 bag Hershey's Kisses brand Candy Cane Kisses
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 egg
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoons milk
Crushed peppermint candies for inside the cookies (optional)

Helpful Tools:
Hand or Stand MIxer
Mixing Bowls
Cookie Sheet for baking
Parchment Paper
Mixing spoons/spatula

40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Parental supervision may be needed please be available close by if they need help. The oven will be used to bake cookies. (Cookies will be prepared during class, but they will need to be baked after class.)
