In this 4 day Kids Camp Creative Movement and Book Read Aloud class we will be going on adventures with Elephant & Piggie! We will use our imaginations and creativity to dance and move our bodies through the stories.
Class Experience
As a creative movement teacher I know how much little ones love dancing and using their imaginations. Together, we will be going on fun adventures with Elephant and Piggie! I will be reading four "Elephant & Piggie" books by Mo Willems as we use our creativity to run, jump, and learn fun dance moves and some great life lessons along the way! Class includes interactive movements that incorporate balance, flexibility, jumping, and coordination skills. Plus most importantly HAVING FUN!
I teach dance at several dance studios and schools in my area, including Pre-K, Kinder, and First Grade creative movement classes. These classes are beneficial for teaching coordination, rhythm, balance, flexibility, creativity, and self expression.
It is important to have somewhat of an open space to move and jump around. No shoes are needed, they can go barefoot or wear socks. Attire can be shorts and a t-shirt or anything that they can comfortably move around in.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
