Class Experience

This is a weekly, ongoing class for a small group of piano students who have completed Part 1 or have a little piano experience and want to continue to develop their piano skills. Students should already know the letter names of notes on the keyboard and on the treble clef staff, and recognize quarter notes, half notes, whole notes, and eighth notes.
I use a lot of visuals and engaging activities where each student gets to participate multiple times during each class. Learners may use a piano or electric keyboard. Students will learn a different song each week, as well as focus on different musical concepts. After each lesson I will post practice slides and a practice video for ongoing learning.
There will be a cycle of 12 "episodes," each featuring a new song. Students may join at any point in the series as the basic concepts will be reinforced throughout.
