Kids and Keys: Beginning Piano Class Part 2
Class experience
This is a weekly, ongoing class for a small group of piano students who have completed Part 1 or have a little piano experience and want to continue to develop their piano skills. Students should already know the letter names of notes on the keyboard and on the treble clef staff, and recognize quarter notes, half notes, whole notes, and eighth notes. I have taught music both in schools and privately for over 30 years, hold a master's degree in Music, and am certified K-12 in both Vocal and Instrumental Music Education.
Homework Offered
Learners are encouraged to practice each week's song in between sections.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Students should have a piano or electric keyboard during the lesson. After each lesson, I will supply practice slides which will include practice videos.
I will occasionally post a video link in the classroom--these links will open in Outschool so the student does not need to go to an outside source. I create the practice slides using Google Slides and Canva, but the students will only have to open the link.
