An interactive, weekly ongoing class where we practice reading music and sharing songs on the piano.
Class experience
This is a weekly, ongoing class for a small group of piano beginners. I use a lot of visuals and engaging activities where each student gets to participate multiple times during each class. Learners may use a piano or electric keyboard. Students will learn a different song each week, as well as focus on different musical concepts. After each lesson I will post practice slides and a practice video for ongoing learning. There will be a cycle of 12 "episodes," each featuring a new song. Students...
I have taught music both in schools and privately for over 30 years, hold a master's degree in Music, and am certified K-12 in both Vocal and Instrumental Music Education.
Homework Offered
Learners are encouraged to practice each week's song in between sections.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Students should have a piano or electric keyboard during the lesson. After each lesson, I will supply practice slides which will include practice videos.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
