Class Experience
In this 4 week flexible course we will learn some fun and delicious recipes for Cookies. There will be no live sessions for this course. You will be able to complete the sessions on your schedule and then post your final products on the Classroom page. I will post the new recipes, videos, and assignments at the start of each week and request you post your creations before the following week. Ingredients: • All Purpose White Flour • White Granulated Sugar • Light Brown Sugar • Dark Brown Sugar • Baking Powder • Baking Soda • Ground Cinnamon • Salt • Cornstarch • Cream of Tartar • Vanilla Extract • Salted Butter • Eggs • Old Fashioned Rolled Oats • Chocolate Chips (Milk, Semi-Sweet, or Dark) • White Chocolate Chips • Dried Cranberries • Raisins (Optional) Miscellaneous Supplies: • Cookie/Baking Sheet • Silicon Mat or Parchment Paper • Bowls • Measuring Cups and Spoons • Spoon, Spatula, or Mixer (For mixing dough) • Oven
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance will be necessary during this class due to the age of the learners and the use of the oven and microwave. Some learners may also need assistance with measuring ingredients.
