In this one-time class for beginner Latin language learners, we will dive into Latin verbs and their conjugations! We use fun chants and jingles as well as finding Latin derivatives.

This is the second class in my new series called Kickstart to Learning Latin. In this course we will learn about verbs, in English and in Latin. How are verbs used in sentences? How do verbs change in sentences? Then we will discuss how the Romans looked at verbs and used them in sentences. After that, the students will learn some chants and jingles to learn the different conjugations and the word endings for each type of verb. Lastly, we will learn and practice conjugating. The purpose of this course will be to begin learning the building blocks of the Latin language (and even the English language!).
Learning Goals
Students will learn the basics of the Latin verb conjugations and how verbs work differently in a sentence.

My name is Teacher Noelle and I am a certified Elementary Educator. I am also a homeschooling mom to three kids. I taught in classical academies for about 5 years and I have a love for the classics. I am planning to teach Latin classes as well as some book clubs with games and crafts.
The goal of education is to make life long learners, equipped with the tools needed to pursue any topic, field, hobby or profession they are passionate about!
