Description
Class Experience
Types of techniques used in kickboxing include but are not limited to: jab, cross, hook, round kicks, straight kicks, guard.
I currently own and operate a fitness studio where I teach children kickboxing. I have been a competitive kickboxer for 6 years and have represented on Team Canada for full contact kickboxing. I am offering this class because I enjoy working one on one or small group with students and seeing them progress. I prefer this as it gives me a better chance to coach the students in their style and technique.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learners will be assessed during class visually while completing the techniques. There are no written components of this class - however many athletes keep a journal to track their own progress and remember combinations.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
