Kickboxing Exercise Class: Muay Thai (Ongoing)

Students will learn the basics of Muay Thai. This is one of the coolest martial arts! It incorporates both boxing and kickboxing. Beginner friendly! Many MMA fighters use Muay Thai in their fighting style. Great for fitness, exercise and cardio! If you've done karate before, you will love Muay Thai.

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will be able to perform a variety of Muay Thai techniques after training. They will also boost their self confidence, feel great about themselves and get a great workout in!
I lived and trained in Thailand for several months and I am a continuing student of Muay Thai. Always learning! I taught multiple virtual Muay Thai summer camps for El Paso Independent School District in 2020. I am a public high school science teacher and have experience being a head wrestling coach.
No homework assigned.
Students will get feedback in real time from me.
35 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Parental supervision is recommended for students with respiratory problems or physical disabilities. Students will need water, workout clothing (no jeans or skirts) and an open space where they can move around and throw kicks/punches. Indoors/outdoors is fine. Preferably barefoot but if students only have an outdoor space to exercise, shoes are OK.
