What's included
2 live meetings
1 hrs 10 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
This class is designed for teens and tweens with no prior kickboxing experience needed. We'll do a quick round of introductions and set the class expectations and safety protocols. Students will not be expected to interact with each other, they will simply listen and follow the guidance and instruction of Rich. There will be a couple minutes at the end to answer any questions. All questions will be sent in chat privately, to allow anonymity we will not mention who is asking the question. This allows a sense of privacy and more confidence in the child asking the question. *** Please note that transfer requests may not be considered if the request is made within 24 hours of the class start time.*** Please dress in active clothing including appropriate shoes such as runners. Each class will begin with introductions, safety and rules, followed by a quick warm-up to stretch and loosen up the body to reduce the chance of injury. Week of June 20will focus on the offensive and defensive technical applications of the jab, cross, and knee strikes, including balance and basic footwork. Week of June 27 will focus on putting offensive and defensive techniques into flowing combinations. Week of July 4 will focus on the offensive and defensive applications of the uppercut, hook, front kick and round kick with more balance-focused drills. Week of July 11 will focus on applying offensive and defensive drills into focused combinations. Week of July 18 will focus on applying offense and defense into strategies used by professionals.

Other Details
Parental Guidance
It is important to have a safe training space, so be sure to train where you have enough space away from furniture, toys, pets, siblings, etc. I always encourage parental support and engagement with kids afterwards to see how they feel and ask them how they liked the class and if they may have questions that come up afterwards. Always good to know if they want to learn more!
Supply List
A towel and water bottle are recommended, as well as appropriate exercise clothing and running shoes.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
