Description
Class Experience
The learners will get a great workout, have a lot of fun and learn the introductions of kickboxing fundamentals. Most kids I have taught want to learn more!
I started kickboxing in 1990 and have been teaching it since 1994. My students include kids, teens, adults, seniors and come from all different backgrounds. It is still a part of my personal workout routine.
A towel and water bottle are recommended, as well as appropriate exercise clothing and running shoes.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
It is important to have a safe training space, so be sure to train where you have enough space away from furniture, toys, pets, siblings, etc. I always encourage parental support and engagement with kids afterwards to see how they feel and ask them how they liked the class and if they may have questions that come up afterwards. Always good to know if they want to learn more!
