Description

Class Experience

Students will learn proper technique of specific moves outlined in the syllabus such as upper and lower body strikes, self defense, and character development. 
Students will be encouraged to practice at home in a safe space for 10  minutes a day.
A open area that is safe, a non-slip floor, and preferably no socks. A chair, large pillow, and blanket, are requested.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be assessed informally through teacher observation and consistent monitoring throughout class. 
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students will identify "bad guys" as any person that makes them feel uncomfortable.
Students will be instructed to only do martial arts if someone is hurting their body.
Students will be instructed that their is a difference between tattling and reporting.They will be encouraged to report if the information could help someone stay safe.
