Description
Class Experience
Keyboarding/Typing 101 is a great class to learn basic typing skills needed in the workplace and everyday life. Students will learn basic keyboarding and speed typing of individual keys, numeric numbers, and symbols on the computer. Duration of class is 50 mins. 3 times/week. Keyboarding/Typing 101 class schedule consist of the following: Agenda: 1. Class & Teacher Introduction (Day 1) 2. Step-by-step instructions of lesson taught 3. Class Instruction guided by the Teacher 4. Post...
Students will be able to learn typing skills using the computer keyboard and gain a min. typing speed of 50 WPM.
Typing practice any available time after class.
Supply List: 1. Laptop or Desktop PC 2. Desk/Table 3. Computer chair
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Formal assessment: 100 point system Grading Scale: Excellent- 100-90 A Good- 80-70 B Fair- 70-60 C Poor 59-50 D Fail 49 and below F
2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
