Picture courtesy of Amy Baugess on Unsplash. We will begin our class with introductions and how we came to love the Keeper series. Everyone will share what their special ability would be if they were an elf. I will explain how to play Kahoot! for anyone that does not know. Next we will play Kahoot! Keeper of the Lost Cities version (this one will be based on books 4, 5, and 6). This activity should take about 25-30 minutes. Lastly, I will let every student come up with at least one trivia question of their own to share with the group. We can do more than one depending on how much time we have left in the class. (Students can prepare some Keeper questions before class if they would like to have some good questions ready.) Because this class is interactive we need a minimum of 2 students for the Kahoot! competition. If the class does not have enough people enrolled 24 hours before the start of class I will have to cancel the class. I can move you to a different section or refund you for the class, whichever you prefer. The discussions that we will have and questions in the game will be detailed, so there may be spoilers to the books. Each student will need a Kahoot! account. You can log into Kahoot on a separate browser and you will screen share or you can log in on a separate device. Please use whichever method you find to be easiest. I will send out the game ID once class has begun.

I fell in love with the first Keeper of the Lost Cities book about 2 years ago and then shared the great story with my 4 daughters. Since then we have read all the books in the series multiple times, listened to the series on Audible, gone to see Shannon Messenger in person and had her sign several of our books!
