**Students are expected to have read the entirety of the Keeper of the Lost Cities, Book 1, before class starts! ** *** Also students must agree to not spoil the other books in the series if they've read past book one.*** Hi, are you ready to talk about the Lost Cities and the adventures of Sophie Foster in the first book of the Keeper of the Lost Cities series? Then come join us for this one-time discussion style class! This class is small and designed for lots of student engagement. In this class, we will discuss the book, our thoughts about the characters, plot, theme, world-building, writing, and more. During this class, I will facilitate the class discussion, but the discussions will be student-led. Students will be encouraged to share their own opinions and thoughts about the book in a kind and respectful manner while allowing others to have time to share too. Along with sharing which character is our favorites, I will encourage students to share one or more of their favorite quotes, scenes, or aspects of the book.
