Description
Class Experience
Students will develop a basic understanding of the culture of Japan by discussing essential facts about the country. Also, students will improve their drawing ability by using common shapes to create a personalized Travel Girl character wearing a “kimono."
I lived and taught English in Kochi-ken on Shikoku Island (Japan) for two years. I enjoy drawing and love sharing my Travel Girl's adventures with students.
Let's write a story! Students may complete the "Travel Girl's Diary" worksheet and write about "a day in the life" of their travel girl. If students submit the work within 24 hours of the class, the teacher will give read the story and give feedback.
