Class Experience
In this interactive class, you will learn how to make easy to fold origami that look like breakfast foods. Add a cute kawaii face to your origami! The class will start with face-to-face introductions and then I will turn the camera to my hands. Follow along step-by-step as we fold the paper together. I own a mobile and online art school. We have taught hundreds of art workshops in public libraries, and teach afterschool enrichment in two public school districts. I'm also the Art Specialist for a small private school South of Boston where I teach grades K2 to 8. I have a BFA in Ceramics from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and I'm certified in the state of Massachusetts to teach Visual Arts.
>Two pieces of white computer paper each cut into an 8.5" x 8.5" square. >Two pieces of white computer paper each cut into a 6" x 6" square. For the bacon slices: >One piece of white computer paper cut into two 3" x 6" rectangles. OR >One piece of 6" x 6" red origami paper cut in half, so that you have two rectangles(This is what I used in the sample photo). >Glue stick >Scissors >Markers and/or crayons. >A couple sheets of white computer paper just in case your learner wants to start over or fold more origami.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Scissors will be used.
