Class Experience
Students will learn these skills, which are all directly transferable to Adobe Illustrator: * Creating and manipulating vector shapes * Building complex shapes from simple shapes * Changing the opacity / transparency of a shape * Creating a radial color gradient * Creating a linear color gradient * Grouping and ordering shapes * Exporting as a high-quality, high-resolution graphic
A computer (instead of a tablet) is strongly recommended. You can visit Vectr.com to make sure your device is able to use the program. Optional: Set up a (free) Vectr.com account for your student.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
