In this ongoing course, we will draw a variety of fun, cute animals, plants, and non-living things, Kawaii style. Every week we will be drawing different and exciting Kawaii drawings. I will be posting more details about what we will be drawing every week on our classroom page. This is a sample of our schedule: Week 1 - Cute pets Week 2 - Cute food animals Week 3 - Cute foods Week 4 - Cute desserts and so much more... Ideas and suggestions are welcome! This class is designed for drawing enthusiasts who may not have much experience, but are comfortable drawing basic shapes such as circles, ovals, leaves, etc. I will guide the students step-by-step using a drawing tablet and screen sharing, but the learners only need paper, pencil, and eraser. Learners are encouraged to participate in class and share their sketches on camera. Please, note that this is a sketching class, so we will not be coloring unless we have extra time at the end. Students are encouraged to color their sketches after class and share them at our next meeting or post them on our classroom page. Looking forward to drawing with you!

Hello! I'm Sophia Stafford and I'm excited to share my passion for drawing with your learners!
I teach a variety of drawing classes here on Outschool since March 2020.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Math and an MBA in Marketing. I have lectured undergraduate level Business classes and have tutored students of all ages in Math. Also, I have extensive training and experience in drawing both in traditional and digital media. My professional experience includes graphic and web design, and creating digital marketing materials.
My passion has always been drawing and creative arts. I enjoy helping students learn new things and boost their self-confidence through art. It's very fulfilling when I see my students improving their skills and feeling proud of their accomplishments.
