Description

Class Experience

Learners will learn:
- An understanding of how and why myths and creatures exist in societies
- The art of creating fantasy creatures and mythical stories
- Reading and writing literacy, and verbal presentations
I am a professionally trained Drama and English teacher, with 20 over years teaching experience.
Homework is set when learners have not completed their work. On these occasions I ask if they are willing to message me directly on Outschool and attach a photo of their work, so that I can see it before their next class.
Lined paper/exercise books, pencils/pens, plain paper and colouring pencils required.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
If you require a progress report then please contact me, and I will be happy to provide one.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
- The books explored are aimed for learners aged 8 to 12.
- Learners are required to participate by creating their own ideas, either by drawing pictures, and/or writing descriptions.
- Learners are also required to share their work, either verbally during the class, or by sending their work to me on Outschool.
- Learners need to switch their cameras on at the beginning of the class, for me to take the register.
*Note: As a repeat class, it is not suitable for those who have taken this class before. Thank you.
I create my own powerpoint slides.
