I will continue to assess as they earn their belts. There is also, an assessment at the end of book that students will complete and bring to the very last class.Class Experience
Class 9: Review and Belt tryouts, Introduce Repeat Sign, High D and Low D, , Clap and play "Playing High D," and "Warrior Chief," Time for Belts and and questions. Class 10: Review and Belt try outs, Introduce Fermata, Clap and play "Warrior Chief," with the repeat sign, Solve the riddle ( Musical Mystery), introduce eighth notes, play "Hot Cross Buns," High C and Low C, Playing High C, Play Low C, Play "Light Row." Class 11: Review and Belt tryouts, Clap and Play "Lightly Row," Play "Mountain Climbing," and do the (What am I) assessment. No politics or religion will be taught in these classes. Therefore, we will not be playing "God Is So Good," due to Outschool's Policy. More belt tryouts if time allows. Class 12: Review and Belt tryouts, We will not be playing "God Is So Good", due to Outschool's Policy. We will be playing Inserted music that I have chosen. " Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," and " Yankee Doodle." Class 13: Review and Belt tryouts, No politics or religion will be taught in these classes. Therefore, we will not be playing "God Is So Good." due to Outschool's Policy. Introduce HARMONY. Play parts. "Part 1" clap and plays. "Part 2" Claps and Plays "Tune of Harmony.". Play parts together to create a harmony. Review soft and loud symbols. Class 14: Review and Belt tryouts, Introduce tied notes, No politics or religion will be taught in these classes. Therefore, we will not be playing the song on page 26. We will play one or two practice songs from page 32 ( Lesson 20). Instead, we will play "Jingle Bells." Class 15: Review and Belt tryouts, Clap and play "On Top of Old Smokey," and do the Musical Math. Clap and Play "Down by the Station," and if time, play "English Folk Tune" Assign Assessment which is due in the last class. Class 16: Review assessment and Finish Belt tryouts, Play some of student's favorite songs. Question and answer time. If any student struggles, please don't hesitate to ask for help.
Learning Goals
Students will continue to learn the Recorder and earn the rest of the belts. They will learn : Repeat sings, fermata, eighth notes and rest, High C and Low C notes, play in harmony, tied notes, and soft/loud symbols.

Parental Guidance
Due to Outschool's policy, I will be substituting 3 songs "Jingle Bells", "Tune of Harmony", and "On Top of Old Smokey" for three religious songs in the book.
