In my 'Draw Like a Comic Book Artist' class, students will learn the fundamentals of comic art, including character design, dynamic poses, expressive faces, and storytelling through panels. Topics covered include creating action scenes, using perspective, developing unique characters, and crafting engaging visual narratives. The class is structured as a step-by-step guided drawing experience, where I demonstrate each technique live while students follow along. Each session focuses on a specific skill or theme, allowing learners to build their abilities progressively. My teaching style is engaging and interactive, incorporating storytelling, humor, and real-time demonstrations. I encourage questions and provide personalized feedback to ensure every student feels supported. Students will interact with me throughout the class via discussions, drawing critiques, and optional sharing of their work. Lessons may also include visual aids such as slides, sample comic panels, and occasional video clips to inspire and guide students. By the end of each session, learners will have a complete comic-style drawing and newfound confidence in their artistic skills.
