Younger students will learn all about kangaroos through interactive and creative learning methods. Students will learn about kangaroos, their habitat, eating habits and family life. Students will quickly learn all about the different types of kangaroos and their amazing abilities! A focus will be on conservation. Students will be delve into video, handouts, creative options and multimedia presentations that are all guided by the teacher. At the end of the class students will learn how to draw a cute kangaroo and a baby joey with an Australian theme!
Learning Goals
Students will learn all about kangaroos including the anatomy, feeding, behavior, habitat and kangaroo family life both in the wild and also in refuges and zoos. Conservation is stressed throughout the course.
