In this fun, one-day class, students will use the trivia app, Kahoot!, to compete against other students in their knowledge of the countries in Asia. Students do not necessarily need any previous knowledge of the identify and location of the countries in Asia, but as it is a competition, it might be useful to review before taking the class. After introductions are made, the game will begin. This is meant to be a fun, non-stressful, competitive game. I am a very active and animated teachers...
Students will compete against others (and themselves) in their knowledge of the names and locations of the countries in Asia.
I suggest using a second device for the Kahoot! app to prevent lagging or disconnection from the class Zoom meeting.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
