A laptop or desktop computer is better than an iPad for this class because learners will need to see both their personal 'question/play' screen (a browser window) plus the 'master' screen I share in Zoom. Learners on iPads can toggle between the two screen and throughout a game I will always give a commentary on the leaderboard so they don't miss out on any of the 'action'. Learners can always play as guests and no software or download is required. However, if learners do sign up for a free Blooket account then each game earns them tokens which they use to unlock common, uncommon and rare Avatar Blooks.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
