Class Experience

In this explosive class, we will journey deep inside the Earth to discover what makes a volcano so fascinating and so very hot! We will talk about the plates that make up Earth, the layers from the core to the crust.

We will go over the different types of volcanoes and what makes each one special. Leaners will see different photos of different types of volcanoes from all around the world, and we will talk about what type of volcano they are.

Learners will learn volcano vocabulary and we will talk about the different aspects of a volcano and what happens after an eruption.

Finally we will talk about scientists that study volcanoes and what they do to help communities where volcanoes pose a threat.

Leaners will also have a worksheet/coloring paper to work on during class as well that helps them go over what vocabulary we learned during class.
