In this one time class, the students are going to learn about colors. The ability to name colors is age appropriate for students and we will be learning the colors in Yoruba language.

Awo which means color will be taught in Yoruba language. Colors are also used to describe objects and gives us cognitive and visual clues to words and objects. So, we will be using colored pom-poms or different colored toys like bears, sharks to help us learn the colors. The class will be interactive and we will be playing kahoot it at the end of the class to help our assimilation. At the beginning of the class, we will be introducing ourselves and chat about our heritage. Be ready to have FUN!!!
