Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 8
In this personalized tutoring class, I work one-on-one with each learner to build essential reading skills, targeting areas like comprehension, decoding, and fluency based on their individual needs. Each session is structured around specific goals and designed to be engaging and interactive. We’ll use a mix of methods—like reading exercises, targeted discussions, and interactive activities—to make learning both fun and effective.

My teaching style is supportive and adaptive; I tailor each session to meet the student where they are and adjust to their learning pace. I focus on real-world application, using stories, visuals, and hands-on activities to reinforce skills. For students who need additional support, I provide flexible routines, regular breaks, and strategies to build focus and confidence.

Learners will have ample opportunities to interact directly with me through guided reading, discussion, and hands-on exercises. I use tools like slides and video clips sparingly, preferring to keep the focus on active participation and personal engagement. Each session is designed to ensure your learner not only improves their skills but gains confidence and enjoyment in reading.
