Building a good foundation in Math skills for their age level.
Hello my name is teacher Andrea. I am so excited to teach your child. I have a BA degree from Park University and I am TESOL certified . I have 16 years of teaching experience, specializing in teaching children speech, education, and special needs. My strongest areas of teaching is my ability to make learning fun for my students and my ability to connect with my student. My teaching techniques always ensure that the child is engaged and having fun. Anytime learning and fun are combined , it will keeps your child coming back for more. As a teacher and mother of 3 children I know that not all children are the same, so I take pride in the fact that I am able to find your child's' way of learning, processing information, and meeting their learning educational needs so they learn the best. I have a huge passion for teaching children and children with special needs. I love watching children grow and feel proud that they understand the lessons. I have been teaching for 16 years and to say this is my passion forever is completely true. I have been teaching in the virtual class room for over 4 years and I love every second of it. Being able to help students and get to know them from all over is a huge joy. I have a background in behavioral therapy. People do get confused with this, most people think that this is all about children with problem behaviors but truly its about being trained to keep the children's attention. Once you keep the child's attention they want to come back for more. When they come back for more not only are they learning more but they are retaining what they learned. I am trained in these areas retaining information, keeping attention ,ability to adapt for all different types of learners. I have a background in speech, reading, handwriting, math, and so much more. I have done tutoring and helped students far past their academic milestones.
