Class Experience
🟢I think it may be useful if learners have seen at least 5 anime before joining. This will allow more conversation and variety of game questions and they won't feel as left out during the meeting! 🟢Another thing to note is that a lot of the popular anime that learners are discussing are rated TV14 and higher. We still talk about these anime because that is what they want to talk about, conversations will be changed when it gets too mature. Here is a "Parents' Guide to Anime"...
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
There is a large variety of anime, some anime are harmless while others have more mature topics for example violence, profanity etc. Depending on the anime that your learners are watching and want to discuss in each meeting would dictate the meeting. However, for this age group of learners I will do my best to steer the conversations away from extremely mature topics. ***Another thing to note is that a lot of the popular anime that learners are watching/discussing are rated TV14 and higher.
