Just Anime Talk is an ongoing anime discussion club for avid anime watchers that meets once a week to talk all anime! This is a great chance for learners to develop their social skills through anime! #superstar
Class experience
🟢I think it may be useful if learners have seen at least 5 anime before joining. This will allow more conversation and variety of game questions and they won't feel as left out during the meeting! 🟢Another thing to note is that a lot of the popular anime that learners are discussing are rated TV14 and higher. We still talk about these anime because that is what they want to talk about, conversations will be changed when it gets too mature. I found a short article, "Parents' Guide to Anime"...

Homework Offered
Some class sections will have a class anime which is decided upon on the first day of the class by the students. (This will depend on the group of learners) Each week the class will watch 2-3 episodes and discuss during the first 10 mins of class! Class anime allows the class to have at least one anime in common and it will close the anime gap!0 hours per week outside of class

There is a large variety of anime, some anime are harmless while others have more mature topics for example violence, profanity etc. Depending on the anime that your learners are watching and want to discuss in each meeting would dictate the meeting. However, for this age group of learners I will do my best to steer the conversations away from extremely mature topics. ***Another thing to note is that a lot of the popular anime that learners are watching/discussing are rated TV14 and higher.
