This unique, engaging & FUN Fan Club for Dinosaur Fans was designed with fun socialization & confidence building in mind! If your kiddo loves Dino shows & movies more this is probably the club they have been looking for! Kids will get to hang out 1 :1 with buddies in class, play a game, and play trivia too!

Class Experience

🤩 In this fan club we chat about All Things Dinosaurs in the Jurassic World Franchise! In this unique fan club we enjoy chatting about awesome Dino’s, Our Favorite Dino Themed Shows and Movies that we love every single week! Join us for 60 minutes of non-stop chat, jokes, games, trivia, and DINOSAUR talk in this weekly club full of kids who all love meeting other kids a lot like them. This weekly social club and trivia challenge is meant to do so much more than entertain kids, it’s meant to give kids the chance to practice public & a variety of skills like : silent reading, memory recall, and deductive reasoning as well as share opinions and create meaningful conversations with the class while having fun together!

Learners will also have the opportunity to practice improving:
-socialization skills
-communication skills
- participating in interactive group game with other kids 
- muting / unmuting 
- virtual learning etiquette 
- being a patient listener
- raising their hand to speak
- becoming a confident public speaker
- following directions
- typing in the chat box on zoom 💬
- multi-tasking
- teaching others about something they understand well
- making confident decisions
- becoming more comfortable on camera in a virtual class

Miss Anna is a seasoned professional educator with over 10 years of experience teaching kids from all backgrounds.  She specializes in providing fun and educational experiences for kids through play-based learning. She is a Featured Ace Certified Educator and has been recognized as one of Outschools 100 Top Rated Featured Teachers on the platform.

“Hi! I am thrilled you are getting ready to join my very unique social club and trivia challenge!

I have utilized my 10+ years of experience teaching a variety of Music, P.E., and Literature classes to create some fun filled educational play-based classes for your kiddos to enjoy.  I have found the transition from teaching in a traditional classroom setting to a virtual setting to be a wonderful experience for both me and my students. I have currently taught over 900 classes on Outschool to over 4000 children around the world.

This weekly social club and trivia challenge is meant to do so much more than entertain kids, it’s meant to give kids the chance to practice public & a variety of skills like : silent reading, memory recall, and deductive reasoning as well as share opinions and create meaningful conversations with the class while having fun together!

All of my classes on Outschool are structured in a way that encourage kind conversations while having fun!

Kids will occasionally be asked to bring things that can be found around their home to class like paper, pencils or crayons.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Blooket

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Parents please note that kids will need to be able to read the trivia questions or require assistance being either read the trivia questions or listen to them by using the speaker option on the game so that kid may participate each week. 

Parents of children 7 - 10 are welcome to assist kids with reading the questions and answers allow to their child depending on their reading level, however so make the questions as straightforward and simple to read as I can with struggling readers in mind.
(There is also an option to let kids listen to the questions & answers using the device speakers that I several dyslexic students use as well.)

Adults are welcome to sit nearby (while renaming off camera) to assist their learners  by reading clues to them if needed so they can focus on making the choices and clicking the answers.  😀

Please note this game is always meant to be a friendly game and not a competition. There are winners or losers, and no prizes. 😊
