Jupiter: Exploring the Milky Way's Largest Planet
Class experience
US Grade 2 - 4
Students will learn by watching a power point and listening to a lecture. We will talk about how far Jupiter is from the Sun, temperature, size, features and more. We will have open discussion and ask questions. The students will be provided with bingo cards that they may color during the discussion time. We will play outer space bingo towards the end of class. Close to 30 minutes will be dedicated to the power point and discussion, and the last 15 minutes will be dedicated to playing Bingo....
Students will improve their understanding of our Solar System thought learning about its largest planet. They will also further develop concentration, as well as social skills through our game activity during class.
A printable bingo sheet will be provided. Students have the option to color it during class if they choose. Please have bingo chips or coins, or a similar item that can be used to cover the squares.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Please note that a bingo sheet will be provided. This sheet must be printed out before class time. We play bingo at the end of class, about the last 10 minutes.
