Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
At the end of the classes, students will: -be able to recall the steps to making pumpkin bread -be able to demonstrate the creation of Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies -be able to paraphrase the steps in a recipe for pumpkin spice muffins -be able to name the steps of the recipe in a pumpkin pie recipe
Since my twins were extremely young, they have always been in the kitchen with me cooking and creating. We learned to adapt recipes to fit our dietary needs as one of my daughters was diagnosed with severe food allergies as a toddler.
In all Wild About Cooking classes, learners have homework. The homework is to taste test what they have made!
1 file available upon enrollmentEach week the ingredient list will be posted along with the class video. Students will need to have the required ingredients to be able to complete each recipe.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
- YouTube
- EdPuzzle
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
By enrolling in the class, families accept full responsibility for their learner's safety which includes but not limited to kitchen materials and the ingredients. As this is a baking class, students are required to have an adult working with them in order to complete each of the recipes and extra projects. Class videos will be hosted on Erin’s private YouTube channel with the links so that learners can view the videos in the classroom. For Edpuzzle, learners can find additional information to enhance the learning but it is not required.
