Description

Class Experience

Week of May 1: half and half, sugar, vanilla, ice, salt, Ziplocs Week of May 8: liquid sunscreen, paintbrush, sun, black construction paper Week of May 15: vegetable oil, water, food coloring, jar, alka seltzer tablets Week of May 22: vinegar, salt, soap, water, ketchup, soft drink, 5 dirty pennies, 5 cups Week of May 29: aluminum foil, deep container of water, at least 30 pennies Week of June 5: 4 small containers, 4 colors of liquid food coloring, paper towels, water, skittles, 2 white shallow bowls or plates Week of June 12: lemon cut in half, baking soda, food coloring, dish soap, craft stick or fork, lemon juice Week of June 19 or 26: water, yeast, liquid food coloring, hydrogen peroxide, dish soap, empty plastic bottle, funnel **Substitutions of science supplies may not result in same results**
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Some experiments may require adult assistance.
