Calling all nature explorers and those who want to spend time outdoors to join me in a 21 Nature Challenge!
Class experience
Is your child an avid nature explorer? Or would you like child to become one? Do you want your child to become adventurous in the great outdoors? Join me each day for 21 challenge and receive 3 new topic and nature challenges each week! The following areas will have activities for this class: math, science, literature, movement and art. Each week students will gain more knowledge about nature in each of the challenges.
As an avid nature lover, my children and I spend a majority of our time in the outdoors, observing and learning from Mother Nature. I also lead our homeschool nature group in the activities that you will find in the Nature Explorer series.
Students will need a notebook for recording their nature activities and a pencil. Students may want to consider other materials such as a first aid kit, natural materials such as dirt, rocks, sticks. Each day in the classroom, I will provide the worksheets and nature journal pages. In addition, any videos or materials will be posted in the classroom.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
- Variety of nature websites
- Google docs
- Edpuzzle
- YouTube
Parental guidance will be need for the nature walks and the nature activities. Parental help will be needed to complete any optional extension activity.
