Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
I have an associate's degree in family history research and I'm a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists.
Prior to the class, it is recommended that learners come to class knowing at least one family love story. (it can be parents, aunts/uncles, grandparents, cousins, siblings, etc.)
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
For the history portion:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arranged_marriage
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Same-sex_marriage_in_the_United_States
Marriage, a History by Stephanie Coontz
Domestic Revolutions: a Social History of American Family Life by Steven Mintz & Susan Kellogg

For the interview tips portion, I will refer to materials from Evalogue.life, which I will post in the classroom.
