Some learning games may also be included. Students will also have the opportunity to share their optional homework assignment (from the previous class) with their fellow students.

Learning Goals

Students will learn 6 main biomes or habitats and be able to identify their main characteristics.
Students will be able to identify animals that inhabit these biomes, and will observe and recreate their unique features in hands-on activities.

Teacher expertise and credentials
We are so excited to share my love of animals and their habitats with you! Shiny Happy Kids has been teaching STEAM topics like animals to preschool through middle school for 10 years as an independent STEAM education company. We're really looking forward to connecting with new students here on Outschool. Not only will we be learning about animals and ecosystems, but we'll sneak in some colors, numbers and math, comparing and contrasting, observation, movement, social skills, and more--all things that preK, kindergarten, and early elementary students love to learn and practice!
