Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will be able to navigate the kitchen with more confidence, show some cool tricks to friends and family. 
They will be equipped with a great dessert and easy breakfast recipe they can whip out to show their skills with confidence. 
I teach family and consumer science at the high school level, these are recipes I have used in my own home with my own kids. These are two favorite recipes that are great to start our junior chefs out with. 
No homework
Students will not be assessed with a letter grade, we will do informal assessment through our discussions in class. 
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents will want to be around to help operate kitchen equipment and provide support when needed. 
If we need to use additional resources it will most likely be in the form of a video for this age group.
