Let's explore the world of fairies in their many homes and habitats, as we add them to our "field guide." In our travels, we'll also discover the plants and animals all around our magical friends. Includes games, stories, show-and-tell.

Class experience

While the main focus will be on allowing young fairy enthusiasts to share their love of fairy folk and other magical beings, we will also be practicing important social and educational skills as we learn about habitats, adaptation, and other STEAM concepts. The short fairy lesson at the beginning will provide a framework for these discussions and will help the young explorer to build and develop observation, recreation, and communication skills, as well as foster curiosity, wonder, and interest in the world around them, big and small, real and imagined. The field guide will serve as a fun keepsake and reference for future fairy studies and reflection.
I'm so excited to share my love of the faerie folk with you! I've been teaching STEAM and social studies topics like nature, flowers, habitats, fairies and other mythical beings to preschool through middle school for 6 years through an independent STEAM education company, and I'm really looking forward to connecting with new students here on Outschool. Not only will we be learning about the fantastic world of fairies--but we'll sneak in some colors, numbers and math, comparing and contrasting, observation, movement and more--all things that preK, kindergartners and 1st graders love to learn and practice! Best of all, your child will have the opportunity to dress up and share, share, share all of their favorite magical facts and stories!
