Session breakdown:

Before each session, we will read "warm up" words to prepare for reading. We will then focus on vocabulary and discuss words and their meanings within the book. After vocabulary, we will then take turns reading in the...

Students will learn a firmer foundation of reading comprehension skills, will be a more fluent reader, and learn new vocabulary words.

I was in the classroom for five years ranging in grades from second to fifth. While in the classroom I taught grammar, reading, math, history, science, music, spelling, and intervention strategies. Over the last decade, I have tutored elementary aged students, middle school aged students, and college students.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
