Juneteenth is a one of the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration for the ending of slavery in the United States. Juneteenth is celebrated around the nation through the nation. Come, learn, and celebrate Juneteenth in this one-time class. In class, students will learn the importance of Juneteenth though story telling. The professor will be reading her very own book, "Celebrating Juneteenth". At the beginning of class, students complete a fun Black History icebreaker. Then we will begin reading the story. Throughout class students will complete an art project that goes along with the book. At the end of class, we will have a Q&A. Printable will be uploaded into the classroom. Students does not need to have any prior knowledge of Juneteenth to enroll into this class.

Students will learn all about Juneteenth and why it is celebrated.

Parental Guidance
In this class, we will discuss slavery in the United States. There will be no visual ads.
