Description

Class Experience

Students will improve their understanding of Juneteenth and the importance of its celebration.
I am a certified educator with over 15 years of experience in teaching.  As an African-American, I also have a vested interest in knowing and sharing the history of my people to everyone.
 1 file available upon enrollment
Crayons, Colored Pencils or Markers (Blue, Red, White) for the Flag 1 or 2 Sheets of Computer Paper Pencil for Notes (optional)
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery so a definition and background on slavery will be briefly discussed.
