In this 4-session, ongoing class, young learners experience four learning packages on their way to becoming a Kid Spy: How to Become a Secret Spy Agent, Building a Spy Team, Spy Techniques and Disguises, and Spy Gadgets and Activities.

This is a fun, exciting class where we discuss and learn how to become a kid spy. We also focus on many positive benefits of becoming a kid spy, such as learning a foreign language, being friendly and charismatic, staying healthy and fit, performing well in school, and earning an advanced degree. Each learner will have the knowledge and tools to become a kid spy when completed!

     -Create your spy ID card
     -and more DIY spy activities

This class includes DIY home spy gadget-building activities that use parental-guided tools, such as hot glue guns and hobby knives. Proper use of these tools with parental guidance is suggested while introducing these activities. Furthermore, YouTube videos are suggested for DIY spy build activities. Finally, a printer for handouts, such as a spy ID card and certificate of completion, will be needed.

I obtained a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2002 and an Educational Technology master’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 2010. I spent over 20 years in the upper elementary classroom and specialized in teaching language arts for ten years. I also have ten years of private tutoring experience and have tutored online since 2020. I specialize and enjoy digging deep into and discussing a good book with a group of young learners and building upon the reading/writing connection.
