We will learn about how J.S. Bach's music became prominent, especially after his death. One topic we will cover is how Bach's music was discovered centuries after his death and how he became the composer we all know today. The class will be structured by learning about Bach's 65-year life, the Baroque era, his most known compositions, and most importantly what made him a revolutionary composer. A powerpoint presentation will be used to discuss all of these topics. In addition, I will...
